Wood Rope products are designed to accomplish the following characteristics:

• A profile that allows several applications and a consistent appearance. All products are made with the same pitch and spacing so they have the same appearance wherever they are used in the project.
• A larger pitch or spacing for increased visibility. The larger spacing is quite visible yet soft in appearance.
• A shallow depth of cut for ease of assembly and less exposed end grain. The shallow cut makes for easier blending of miter cuts and alleviates darker end grain colors.
• A rounded bottom cut for easier sanding and finishing.

• These identical rope profiles are available in all of the standard sizes in quarter round, half round and full round. Mitering is made easy, attractive and accurate with a 45 degree segment to segment angle and a right and left twist. The quarter and half round products are machined as such and are not cut from full rounds so the back surfaces are planed and square for accurate installation.

Thank you for considering rope as your finishing touch. If you are particular about the appearance of your project there are three things that you need to consider.

• Right /Left twist. Rope is nearly always mitered into place. To enjoy a clean fit and appearance you need a right and a left twist to turn a corner.
• Pitch angle. In order to accomplish that clean corner and proportional appearance you need your rope to have the correct pitch/angle
• Size. In order to have an attractive appearance you need to choose the correct size to fit the application.
