Dentil is designed to accomplish the following characteristics. It has been created to give you design options with consistent appearance while also keeping in mind the finishing and installation process of your completed project.

• A profile that allows several applications and a consistant appearance.  All products are made with the same pitch and spacing so they have the same appearance wherever they are used in the project.
• A larger pitch or spacing for increased visibility.  The larger spacing is quite visible yet soft in appearance.
• A shallow depth of cut for ease of assembly and less exposed end grain. The shallow cut makes for easier blending of miter cuts and alleviates darker end grain colors.
• A rounded bottom cut for easier sanding and finishing.  

These characteristics have been designed into the manufacturing process with careful consideration for installation and assembly to give you the  right image at the right price.
