The dentil rail was intended as a less expensive chair rail but is also used for cabinets and furniture. The three piece built up moldings are bonded together using a eurethane bonding agent. All three components are inspected for blemishes before they are assembled. They are very strong and exceptionally straight having been bonded together in a jig from three separate pieces of wood.
